Here are some general contest rules for Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc...WCZT and WILW Radio, and WBES LLC.
1) You must be at least 18 years old to qualify for most contests, some contest require you to be at least 21 years old, check individual contests for details.
2) You may only register and/or qualify once for contests on any of our three radio stations, multiple entries are discarded.
3) Employees of Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc, their families are not eligible for any contests. Also, employees of any businesses where sign ups are taken, are also not eligible for prize consideration. Employees of businesses are allowed to sign up for contests at other businesses, but not the one that they work for. Any prize winner caught violating this rule will immediately forfeit the prize.
4) In most cases, the 30-day rule is in effect. This means that you cannot win a prize from the radio station more than once in a 30-day period. In contests where there are multiple entires, the 30-day rule is generally waived so you have a chance at winning a bigger prize. The 30 day rule includes BOTH WCZT, WILW, AND WKOE radio stations; if you win a prize from Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc., you cannot win another prize from either radio station for a 30-day period.
5) All prizes must be picked up at Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc., 3208 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood NJ 08260 within 30 days or they are forfeited.
6) Prizes have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for any other prizes. Prizes with an expiration date that's already expired will not be substituted if they are not picked up in a timely manner.
7) Prizes cannot be exchanged with another person unless permission is granted by the radio station. No substitutions are allowed.
8) Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc., reserves the right to change these rules at any time.
9) Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc., makes no warranty concerning fitness or merchantability of any goods given as prizes.
10) As a condition to acceptance, all prize winners must release CBS, Inc., it's owners, directors, managers, employees, agents from any and all liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prize.
11) Participation in contests constitutes the entrant's permission for CBS, Inc. to use the participant's entry, name, voice, and/or likeness and the fact that he/she has participated in/won the contest.
12) Winners shall be responsible for any taxes imposed on receipt of the prize
Radio Lottery Contest Rules
1. Contests open to persons 18 years of age or older, unless specified otherwise.
2. Qualified entries will be accepted as directed by Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc.
3. Players must log on to www.XXXX.com and click on the “Radio Lottery” link. Follow the instructions to submit an Official Sweepstakes Entry Form by selecting seven (7) numbers between one (1) and fifty (50) (with no duplicates) and follow the instructions to complete the registration forms. All seven (7) numbers selected are "entered" into the daily drawing with the "click" on the "submit" button at the end of the registration process. All entries become the property of RadioLottery, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete entries are void. Registration or entries which are completed or entered by other than human means or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified and the entrant ineligible for future participation.
5. Winning numbers will be randomly selected by a secure automated drawing process and verified against all eligible entries at the end of each business day.
6. Winning numbers will be posted on the RadioLottery, Inc. web site (www.RadioLottery.com). Potential winners will be notified by mail, e-mail or telephone within two (2) weeks of each drawing. If a potential winner cannot be reached after ten (10) days from the first notification attempt, is found to be ineligible, declines to accept a prize, or in the event that a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited.
7. No purchase or online access fee is necessary to play.
8. Only one winner per household will be allowed for the duration of the contest, unless otherwise specified. The first in each household to qualify or win will be considered. All subsequent persons from the same household will be disqualified.
9. This contest does not fall under WKOE's “General Rules.” You may win the contest even if you have won a prize with WKOE in the past 60 days.
10. Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc & RadioLottery, Inc. reserves the right to use all winners names, character, voice, photographs or likeness for promotional purposes for which winners waive any claim of royalty.
11. Winners must sign a release form prior to and in order to claim their prize. Prizes are nontransferable and not redeemable for cash.
12. Winners must provide Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc and RadioLottery, Inc. with their correct social security number.
13. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
14. Employees of participating sponsors, Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc, and it’s affiliates and subsidiaries and immediate family members residing in the same household and employees of other broadcast are ineligible to win.
15. If after the contest starts, changes and or updates are deemed necessary, RadioLottery, Inc and/or Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc may make the required changes and announce them on air.
16. Violation of any of these rules will forfeit winner’s claims to any prize.
17. Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc and RadioLottery, Inc. is not responsible for illegible, lost, late, mutilated or misdirected mail.
18. Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc and RadioLottery, Inc. shall not be responsible for postponement or cancellation of the Radio Lottery due to website outages at 106.7 Coast Country or at the RadioLottery’s website.
19. By signing up to participate in the Radio Lottery, you give RadioLottery and Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc permission to send you emails.
20. Odds of winning the $1,000,000 prize are 99 million to 1.
21. All decisions of Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc and RadioLottery, Inc. are final.
